Most of us have a cause that's near and dear to our heart, for me, when it's not uplifting women through the power of portraiture; it's supporting the autism community. A portion of every shoot booked is donated to The Painted Chair Project, an autism awareness cause created to celebrate and support the autism community through beautiful portraits and imagery and services.
Thank you to everyone who booked a shoot with me during the first quarter of 2020. Although we had to cut the quarter short due to the coronavirus pandemic, we were able to earmark $324.47 for autism-related projects or causes. The best part is we donated $250 to Jordan Lake Arts Center, a Jordan Lake School of the Arts nonprofit dedicated to providing extraordinary art-related learning experiences for students within this spectacular school.
