Story Telling Portraits
Updated: Aug 31, 2020
In the name of giving back and inspired by my beautiful son diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I created The Painted Chair Project. It is an evolving cause supporting the Autism community by using my camera or inspiring others to do the same. As a supporter of my business, you allow me to continue to give back to this amazing community as a portion of my profits are set aside, allowing me to do just that.
Today I wanted to share with you a snippet of what your support has allowed me to create. In the downtime that a nonessential business like mine experience as a result of COVID19, I dedicated my time to creating a photography project for the students of Jordan Lake School of the Arts, called Story Telling Portraits. As the students found themselves in a sudden change, we empowered them to document their COVID19 experience through captivating imagery. Many of the students who participated are on the Autism Spectrum. It was so captivating to see their world through the images captured within their own space.
Today we invite you to learn more about this beautiful project your support has allowed us the privilege to pioneer.
