You are the face of your brand...
Let me tell you what I like most about this branding headshot. This image captures an artist in her most authentic form, her shirt is a little wrinkled, and her hair is a bit messy, and you can tell she is uncomfortable being in the spotlight, so placing her painting at the forefront of the image makes her feel less singled out. I suspect this is how you would find her as you walk through her studio, perfectly imperfect in a way that makes her oh so beautiful.
In today's market, when there are so many options within the endless services and products offered, being authentic can be what makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd. It has the power to make you more approachable and more relatable to your audience. This concept is even more important for my fellow entrepreneurs to understand as we are the face of our business.
